I can't even imagine trying to write an email or a text message or even get a single sentence across using this interaction. To me it feels like someone locked up a box and threw away the keys.

Lack of Control

Didn't See That Coming

A digital interaction that mimics the feeling of not being in control and not being able to predict what is to come.

This mini-interaction expresses the feeling of not knowing what is to come and a lack of control that many mothers face when they are first learning to care for a newborn. Every week that the baby changes and develops, so does the mother’s experience with her child. With this inability to predict what might happen, a mother has to learn to be flexible and ready to tackle whatever comes her way.
